Here we discuss about the oil painting and modern abstract, and how we combine them to show our creativity. This is the working style of Team Dartism to experiment some new things instead of traditional art style. We do this and guide those who want to adopt this type of style. So guys lets start with basic of oil-painting.

Before start painting you must choose a good quality oil-paints, do not hesitate to buy expensive oil-paints because cheep or low quality oil-paints can spoil your art and make it difficult. Also when you finish your art-work you find it dull then that which was created by quality oil-paints. There are hundreds of oil-colors available in market but you have to abstain these oil-paints.

Second thing you need to get a good quality paint-brush, avoid cheep and do not think to save money here. This might diminish you art-work. Do not purchase much expansive at a beginner level but remain cheep. Get some brushes of different size of each kind. Mainly you need rounded brushes, flat brushes and bristle brushes.You can use synthetic fiber brushes but with soft fiber. 

You need to get all the stuffs necessary for oil painting. Oil paint is very thick initially so it needs to be thin to prevent cracking the colors, so we use  thinner/spirit/turpentine for this.

Of-course you need a well stretched canvas of a suitable size. Try to get a good quality canvas.

Easel, cleaning bowl, color-palette  etc are the other stuffs you need to make an oil painting.

That's all you need to make an oil-painting its very simple to step next. Now you need to fix a work space for painting because to protect your house form oil paint. Choose an area in your house with sufficient source of light and where you get a clear view.
